Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What documentation do I need to place a vehicle in storage?
You will need to provide your firm name, the case name or number, the client's name, and basic vehicle information (year, make, model, VIN if available). We will generate an intake receipt and case number upon arrival.
How do I schedule an expert inspection?
Call us in advance to book an inspection appointment. Provide the expert's name, firm, and intended scope of inspection. We will confirm an available time and ensure a staff escort is on hand. All individuals accessing the vehicle must sign in upon arrival. Vehicle lift use is charged per inspection.
Can multiple experts inspect the same vehicle?
Yes, multiple experts can inspect the same vehicle, but each party must schedule their own appointment separately by calling us. We do not coordinate scheduling between parties. Each visit is independently logged in the chain of custody record.
Are your custody records admissible in court?
Our documentation is designed to meet evidentiary standards. We maintain written condition reports and access logs from intake through discharge. Certified copies of custody records are available upon request.
What happens if opposing counsel wants to inspect the vehicle?
Access by opposing counsel or their experts is arranged through you. We will not grant access to any party without written authorization from the attorney of record. Opposing access is coordinated and logged like any other authorized visit.
What vehicles can you accommodate?
We accommodate motorcycles, passenger vehicles, SUVs, pickup trucks, cargo vans, and most light commercial vehicles indoors. Our indoor storage has a 10' height clearance. Vehicles exceeding this height, including tractor trailers, can be stored in our secured outdoor lot. Call us to discuss availability and arrangements.
How is the vehicle protected from environmental damage?
All vehicles are stored indoors, fully protected from hail, snow, ice, rain, wind, UV exposure, and extreme weather events, all of which can alter or destroy physical evidence. Indoor storage eliminates weather-related deterioration. Access is strictly limited to Premier VES staff and permitted guests.
How do I arrange release of the vehicle?
Submit a written or email release authorization on your firm's letterhead. Our staff will verify identity and provide you with a complete chain of custody log at release.
